Using the BringFido app, I found this establishment. My family and I were on our way to Sedona, AZ and we needed to stop for some lunch. 7 adults, 3 dogs and 1 baby. That's a lot to handle on a road trip from LA to AZ. Ma & Pa's hot rod cafe was perfect for us. A large outdoor patio was exactly what we needed. The staff was incredibly kind. They served our dogs ice water and gave them some treats. How sweet is that!? Our waitress also let the baby play with some toys so he was very much entertained. The food was excellent and our waitress was very attentive. She was constantly checking in on us. Such a wonderful place to find on our way to Arizona.

Love this place, we were road tripping back to California to find this cute little cafe that make you feel like you are part of the town! And the food was straight on!

Stopped in for breakfast on our way out of town.  Very fun little place with lots and lots of hot rod related items displayed all over the restaurant.  We were warmly greeted and told to sit anywhere.

We chose a booth and a young man came over asked about drinks and handed us menus.  I ordered coffee (which I actually didn't care for...it had a bitter taste and even though I doctored it up with Spenda and 1/2 and 1/2, I still didn't really care for it.  Only drank about half the cup.)

I ordered the burger patty, scrambled eggs and home fries.  Liked that I was asked if I wanted onions and peppers added...many times places just include it in their home fries.  I prefer just potatoes so that was great.  I also asked for an English muffin, which is one of the choices of toast.  Companion had the hash brown skillet.

The food arrived fairly quickly and plates looked good.  Turns out that the home fries are bit greasy but otherwise, I liked my breakfast.  I believe the burger was cooked on a grill because it had that taste, which was great and done to perfection.  The eggs were scrambled just the way I like them...there is a perfect balance between loose and dry, and these landed right in the land of perfection :-)!

The other plate of food looked good and was reported to be excellent, albeit a tad greasy as well.  We both chalked it up to being in a mom and pop diner and people around us seemed pleased with their meals, so probably more about our own personal tastes.

Giving a three only because of the greasy spuds and the off-tasting coffee.  Would not hesitate to go back and try something else; and we most likely will as we will be back in the area in February.

This place was decked out in Route 66 and sports memorabilia.  They were nearing the end of their shift for the day, so they were not busy.  We were the only table for a while then others came in.  They serve breakfast all day, so I ordered the mini french toast with an over easy egg.  It was the right amount of food and tasted great.  They only had maple syrup on the table, but that worked well for me.  The egg was cooked perfectly.

The waitress was friendly and attentive and kept our drinks full.  I would come back to this place for sure.
